The Cascade Camera Club holds an exhibit and critique night for digital images the first meeting of each month except September (held on the third Monday). Only members may participate in these exhibits.
Visitors are welcome to observe and are encouraged to join so they can participate in the critiques. The Cascade Camera Club encourages all members to submit images for exhibit and critique. We learn and improve our photographic skills by displaying images and listening to thoughtful critiques. The club urges members to explore new photographic techniques and workflows and to submit recent work (photographs shot within the last two years). However, older images are welcome, especially if they have been processed using a newer technique.
For image submission guidelines, see this document. http://cascadecameraclub.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Image-Prep_Submit_20180301.pdf
Click on a link below for a tutorial on preparing an image in Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements for exhibition. Members participate by electronically uploading 1 (one) digital image per month by 11:59 pm (Pacific Time) on the Wednesday prior to the critique night.
To submit a digital image, you must be registered for a login account – a process that begins with payment of membership dues. Once the account is created, go to the club website home page to login and upload your image. Past submitted images may be seen in the club’s monthly newsletters or the club’s website gallery.
